Thanksgiving in Omaha

Our first Thanksgiving was spent in Omaha, NE. We went to a baseball game at Rosenblatt stadium. We later found out that it was the last game ever in that stadium before it was torn down.

Halloween

This was our first Halloween. We were pretty proud of our sweet pumpkin carving skills!!!

Driving Range

John said if we went to the range and I became good enough to play my own ball the whole way, he'd take me golfing! We had a lot of fun that day and I didn't do too bad. We went golfing together a few weeks later.

Boys will be boys

"Why would any girl want to go out with me, I don't have any good skills... like bow hunting skills, numb-chuck skills..."

But you do have sweet sword fighting skills!!! Not to mention nice headbands!

Happy Bday Johnny!!

John's first birthday not on the ranch in Utah was celebrated in Branson, MO. As part of his birthday gift, we got season passes to Silver Dollar City!!! The first day was a little rainy, but we didn't care. It was so fun, until we lost our keys on a roller coaster ride Saturday night. The park eventually found our keys a few days later after we had already loaded up the mini on Jason's trailer and had it hauled back to Berryville while we borrowed my little sister's car. All in all it was a very exciting weekend and everything worked out great. I secretly think this incident started John's dislike for the mini cooper.

Arkansas Naturals Game

We enjoy going to the Arkansas Naturals Baseball games. The team isn't that good but it is still so fun!!

"Take me out to the ball game, take me out to the crowd. Buy me some peanuts and cracker jacks. I don't care if I ever come back for it's root, root, root for the home team. If they don't win in it's a shame. For it's one, two, three strikes you're out at the ol' ball game!!!"

Learning to Cook

Now that we are home and back to normal, we are learning to cook real food. It's so fun!!!

Honeymoon

We celebrated our honeymoon in Cancun Mexico. It was beautiful!! We spent most days being beach bums and eating tons!! One day we rented a ski boat and went snorkeling. We didn't have any fun!!

Wedding

Our wedding was the perfect day! The sealing was so amazing. We can't remember what was spoken but we will forever have the feelings engraved in our hearts. The spirit was so strong as we looked across the alter into each others' eyes knowing we would be together forever. It's so wonderful knowing you will be with your best friend forever! We are so excited to build a life, family, and memories together!

We're getting married!

It's truly amazing how the Lord guides our lives. We make decisions constantly that seem insignificant, but looking back we can both see the hand of the Lord directing us to this time and place. John and I are so incredibly happy! We both feel incredibly lucky to have found each other! We can't wait to spend eternity growing our love.
